A new life for Terminus

As of Thursday, September 7, a new chapter begins for Hôtel Terminus in Sierre. Built in the 1860s and ideally located opposite the station exit, this emblematic Sierre landmark was bought in 2005 by the Rouvinez family, who completely renovated it. For 18 years, this beautiful historic building was home to the talent and inventive cuisine of chef Didier de Courten, who, with his 2 Michelin stars and 19 Gault et Millau points, has put Sierre on the map of haute gastronomie. After more than 30 years at the highest level, Chef de Courten has decided to hand in his apron. As of Thursday September 7, a new phase begins at Le Terminus.

Bike

Whether you're a road biker, mountain biker or e-biker, the Central Valais offers you an unrivalled playground in a sumptuous natural setting. At Le Terminus, you can store your bike in a closed, secure room, along with all the equipment you need for minor repairs. Our team will be delighted to advise you on the most beautiful itineraries in the region.

Golf

Crans-sur-Sierre (27 holes), Sierre (18 holes), Sion (18 holes) and Leuk/Loèche (18 holes). These 4 courses are all less than 20 minutes from our hotel, making Le Terminus a golfer's paradise. In Leuk, Le Terminus guests enjoy a 20% discount on green fees at all times, and every day of the year, two players benefit from a preferential rate (chf 60.- / green fee). Please ask at reception, who will be happy to book your tee times.

Ski

Situated on a plain at an altitude of 500 meters, our hotel is just a stone's throw from the region's renowned winter sports resorts. All can be reached by public transport: Crans-Montana (15 minutes by funicular), Vercorin (25 minutes by bus and cable car), Grimentz-Zinal (60 minutes by bus), St-Luc/Chandolin (50 minutes by bus). From Le Terminus, set off to conquer the 400 km of slopes in these resorts.
